To avoid issues like this, PRIOR to purchasing, we strongly recommend that you take your console to a qualified technician or console repair shop and let them confirm the issue is a faulty power supply, and not some other internal component within the console.

If you are unable to do this, then we suggest you try to borrow a power supply from another person who has an Xbox One console and simply test it on your console. If your console turns on with their power supply, then the issue is confirmed to be a faulty power supply and you can proceed to purchase a replacement.
